Sbunker is a non-governmental media organization, founded in 2016, which is committed to providing analytical and substantive views on important political, economic, social, and cultural issues in Kosovo, the Western Balkans, and beyond. Furthermore, through the \"Disinfo\" program, Sbunker monitors the content published daily in the local media and identifies fake news with tendencies to misinform the public. In addition, Sbunker offers various podcasts where philosophical and theoretical views are elaborated, books by various authors are discussed, and political trends in the region are analyzed.<\/em>.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Fitim Gashi
Executive Director<\/h2>

Fitim Gashi is a journalist and researcher with experience in covering political, social, security issues and in exposing disinformation in Kosovo and the wider region. Over the past three years, he has served as Project Lead for Anti-Disinformation at Sbunker, within the framework of the regional network Western Balkans Anti-Disinformation Hub \u2013 \u201cExposing Malign Influences through Data-Driven Watchdog Journalism\u201d. In this role, he has been responsible for project management, the development and implementation of research and editorial methodologies and the coordination of cooperation with regional partners, with a focus on identifying and exposing foreign malign influence and disinformation campaigns.<\/p>\n

Gashi has more than 17 years of experience in journalism, primarily with KOHA Media (KTV and Koha Ditore), where he worked for 13 years as a senior journalist. He is the author of numerous investigative articles and reports addressing political, security, social and inter-ethnic issues\u2014work that has earned him national and international awards.<\/p>\n

Gashi holds a Master\u2019s degree in Political Science and Public Administration and is an alumnus of the Fulbright Program in the United States. He has also participated in other international programs and study visits, including in conflict-affected regions such as Ukraine.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Hana holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Prishtina. She currently works as a Project Manager at Sbunker, where she coordinates projects, manages teams and collaborations, and develops strategies for digital engagement. She also serves as Director at truAktiv, leading the organization\u2019s initiatives and programs. In addition to her work in the non-profit sector, Hana is a digital designer and illustrator, creating visual content. Fatbardha completed her Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s studies in Albanian Literature at the University of Prishtina and, in 2024, earned the title of Doctor of Philological Sciences. She has published several scholarly articles in the field of literature in national and international journals and has translated a significant number of literary works into Albanian. She is the recipient of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Award for the best literary translation into Albanian, \u201cPjet\u00ebr Bogdani,\u201d for 2021. Lura Pollozhani

Lura Pollozhani is a research scholar and policy advisor, specializing in politics and international relations, with a particular focus on statehood, social movements and democratic consolidation in the Western Balkans. She holds a PhD in Law and Politics from the University of Graz, Austria. She also completed an MSc in European Studies at the London School of Economics. Lura\u2019s expertise is also consolidated in government circles, particularly through her role as advisor to the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, where she led international cooperation and reforms related to NATO membership. As a committed advocate for social justice and women\u2019s empowerment, Lura co-founded the Stella Network, with the aim of mentoring women and girls and promoting mentoring in different sectors. Agron Demi has over 17 years of experience in the civil society sector and development policy. For more than 15 years, he has worked at the GAP Institute, where he served as Executive Director during the years 2010\u20132016. He has also been an advisor to a number of international organizations, including Navanti Group, International Development Group, National Democratic Institute, Eurofound and UN agencies.\nAgron completed his bachelor\u2019s studies in Public Administration, as well as in Social Work, both at the University of Prishtina. Ramadan Ilazi
Board Member<\/h2>

Ramadan Ilazi, PhD, is Head of Research at the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) and non-resident research fellow with ELIAMEP. He holds a PhD in Politics and International Relations from Dublin City University and an MLitt in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of St. Andrews, where he was a Chevening Scholar.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ilazi currently leads Work Package 6 on counter\u2011narratives in the Horizon Europe project SMIDGE, examining the spread of online narratives, conspiracy theories, and misinformation, with a focus on individuals aged 45\u201365. He previously served as a team leader in the Horizon 2020 project PAVE (2020\u20132023), which analysed drivers and prevention of violent extremism in the Balkans and MENA region.<\/p>\n

His policy experience includes serving as Kosovo\u2019s Deputy Minister for European Integration (2015\u20132016).
