Student-led protests that began on November 22, 2024, continue across Serbia. The protests were triggered after the attack on students of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts during the 15-minute silence commemorating the 15 people who died from the collapse of the concrete canopy at the newly reconstructed train station in Novi Sad on November 1, 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Students are demanding accountability for the Novi Sad tragedy as well as for the attack on the students. They are calling for the full publication of all documents related to the station's reconstruction, legal prosecution of those who attacked the students, the dismissal of criminal charges against students arrested during the protests and a 20% increase in the state budget for higher education.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Madje, Qeveria iu drejtua drejtp\u00ebrdrejt student\u00ebve duke ofruar hua t\u00eb p\u00ebrshtatshme p\u00ebr t\u00eb rinjt\u00eb. The last two weeks saw tectonic changes daily. On January 27, students blocked for 24 hours Autokomanda Bridge, a major bridge in Belgrade. The following morning, four students were <\/span>attacked<\/span><\/a> in Novi Sad by SNS (Serbian Progressive Party) loyalists. Just hours later, Prime Minister Milos Vucevic and Novi Sad Mayor Milan Djuric <\/span>resigned<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ata u bashkuan me koleg\u00ebt e tyre dhe qytetar\u00ebt n\u00eb bllokimin e tri urave kryesore t\u00eb qytetit, n\u00eb aksionin e quajtur \u201c1.2. n\u00eb 3 ura\u201d, n\u00eb p\u00ebrkujtim t\u00eb sakt\u00ebsisht tre muajve q\u00eb nga r\u00ebnia e mbules\u00ebs. <\/span>Dhjet\u00ebra-mij\u00ebra<\/span><\/a> qytetar\u00eb u bashk\u00ebngjit\u00ebn n\u00eb bllokada, pas s\u00eb cilave shum\u00eb prej tyre b\u00ebn\u00eb kamp jasht\u00eb dhe, t\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen, e pastruan nj\u00ebrin nga sheshet kryesore t\u00eb qytetit.   <\/span><\/p>\n

Teksa protestat duket se ngadal\u00eb po i p\u00ebrmbushin q\u00ebllimet e veta dhe po e dob\u00ebsojn\u00eb <\/span>udh\u00ebheq\u00ebsin\u00eb e SNS-s\u00eb<\/span><\/a>, ndikimi i tyre do t\u00eb vazhdoj\u00eb. Protestat studentore soll\u00ebn shpres\u00eb t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb dhe e mobilizuan publikun, p\u00ebr shkak t\u00eb q\u00ebndrimeve t\u00eb tyre t\u00eb sinqerta dhe t\u00eb vendosura n\u00eb trajtimin e problemeve kryesore me t\u00eb cilat ballafaqohen qytetar\u00ebt. Kjo \u00ebsht\u00eb e para l\u00ebvizje q\u00eb vepron k\u00ebshtu, sepse opozita dhe shoq\u00ebria civile n\u00eb Serbi kan\u00eb d\u00ebshtuar. Opozita gjithmon\u00eb u \u00ebsht\u00eb qasur me ndrojtje temave t\u00eb nxehta, kurse organizatat e shoq\u00ebris\u00eb civile mbesin t\u00eb kufizuara n\u00eb fush\u00ebn e politik\u00ebs s\u00eb lart\u00eb dhe konflikteve t\u00eb ngrira. <\/span><\/p>\n

Zyrtar\u00ebt e lart\u00eb t\u00eb SNS-s\u00eb <\/span>nuk din\u00eb<\/span><\/a> si t\u00eb p\u00ebrballen me student\u00ebt. K\u00ebto jan\u00eb protesta pa udh\u00ebheq\u00ebs dhe t\u00eb distancuara nga t\u00eb gjitha organizatat e shoq\u00ebris\u00eb civile dhe partit\u00eb politike q\u00eb po i komentojn\u00eb veprimet e tyre. Megjith\u00ebk\u00ebt\u00eb, ata e kan\u00eb mir\u00ebpritur secilin q\u00eb mb\u00ebshtet angazhimin e tyre, duke theksuar se veprojn\u00eb n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb pavarur. M\u00eb e r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishmja, k\u00ebrkesat e tyre nuk kan\u00eb t\u00eb b\u00ebjn\u00eb me q\u00ebllime t\u00eb ngushta politike, por jan\u00eb t\u00eb dizajnuara men\u00e7ur p\u00ebr t\u2019i targetuar rr\u00ebnj\u00ebt e korrupsionit sistemik. Dhe student\u00ebt nuk po l\u00ebkunden n\u00eb q\u00ebndrimet e tyre, si\u00e7 po l\u00ebkundet regjimi i Vu\u00e7iqit.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Ndikimi \u00ebsht\u00eb ndier edhe jasht\u00eb kufijve. Student\u00ebt serb\u00eb kan\u00eb ngjallur keqardhje n\u00eb Kroacin\u00eb fqinje, me student\u00ebt e universiteteve nga <\/span>Zagrebi n\u00eb Rijek\u00eb<\/span><\/a> q\u00eb u jan\u00eb bashkangjitur koleg\u00ebve t\u00eb tyre serb\u00eb n\u00eb shenj\u00eb solidariteti. Qytetar\u00ebt kroat\u00eb, t\u00eb udh\u00ebhequr nga student\u00ebt, organizuan tubime n\u00eb <\/span>pes\u00eb qytete<\/span><\/a>, me mesazh t\u00eb qart\u00eb: \u201c<\/span>Nj\u00eb bot\u00eb, nj\u00eb betej\u00eb<\/span><\/i>\u201d. <\/span>Student\u00ebt boshnjak\u00eb<\/span><\/a>, jo vet\u00ebm q\u00eb nderuan viktimat n\u00eb Novi Sad, por u ndien t\u00eb inkurajuar p\u00ebr t\u00eb k\u00ebrkuar p\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsi nga zyrtar\u00ebt e tyre p\u00ebr p\u00ebrgjigjen e ftoht\u00eb ndaj p\u00ebrmbytjeve q\u00eb e kapluan vendin dhe shkaktuan 19 viktima, m\u00eb 4 tetor n\u00eb Jabllanic\u00eb.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Universiteti i Lubljan\u00ebs<\/span><\/a> zyrtarisht shprehu mb\u00ebshtetje p\u00ebr k\u00ebrkesat e student\u00ebve dhe d\u00ebnoi dhun\u00ebn kund\u00ebr tyre. Student\u00ebt serb\u00eb vepruan reciprokisht, <\/span>duke nderuar<\/span><\/a> viktimat e ngjarjeve trondit\u00ebse q\u00eb ndodh\u00ebn n\u00eb Zagreb (Kroaci) dhe Cetinje (Mal t\u00eb Zi), si dhe duke p\u00ebrdorur platformat e tyre p\u00ebr t\u2019i lidhur fqinj\u00ebt n\u00eb koh\u00eb dhimbjesh. <\/span><\/p>\n

Protests and boycotts in Serbia have evolved into a movement demanding a just society with accountable state institutions and reparations for the corruption and destruction caused by SNS.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Asociacioni i Avokat\u00ebve i Serbis\u00eb pezulloi aktivitetin p\u00ebr <\/span>30 dit\u00eb, pas bojkotit tet\u00ebditor<\/span><\/a>.   <\/span><\/p>\n

P\u00ebr m\u00eb shum\u00eb, <\/span>28 organizata t\u00eb shoq\u00ebris\u00eb civile<\/span><\/a> ndaluan bashk\u00ebpunimin me Qeverin\u00eb. Nga mesi i janarit, 68% e shkollave t\u00eb mesme ndoq\u00ebn modelin e student\u00ebve universitar\u00eb, duke organizuar bllokadat dhe plenumet e tyre.
