On May 16, 2024, the National Library of Kosovo, “Pjeter Bogdani,” unveiled the exhibition “Artists and Refugees,” a collaborative project that brings together seven artists from Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Ukraine, who traveled to Romania in March to hear the stories of Ukrainian refugees.
“Artists and Refugees” is an emotional journey across borders, transforming the profound stories of Ukrainian refugees into evocative works of art. The exhibition features a variety of artistic expressions, including finely detailed sculptural forms, diverse painting techniques, and a monodrama titled, “Who Loves My Land.”
The project is a joint effort by Sbunker (Kosovo), the Center for Contemporary Art (North Macedonia), and the Women's Integration Network (Romania), with support from the TechSoup Digital Activism Program.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until May 22, 2024.
