Today, we held the third advocacy meeting at the Department of Public Security in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kosovo. During the meeting, we presented our research report, "The Fight Against Extremism in Kosovo," published on January 29, 2025, at the Regional Conference in Pristina, as well as the toolkit with the key findings of the research.
The discussions focused on the content of the report, the methodology used, and its recommendations. Participants shared their thoughts and experiences on the challenges of combating extremism and the need for broader institutional and societal engagement. The importance of collaboration between state institutions and civil society was emphasized to build effective policies and mechanisms for preventing and addressing extremism in Kosovo.
This meeting was organized within the framework of the project "Combating Extremism in Kosovo: Challenges, Trends, and Countermeasures," supported through the Matra program by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kosovo.
