Fitim Gashi, Project Manager at Sbunker, participated as a panelist at the premiere of the documentary “In Pursuit of Truth” during this year’s e-Society Conference, held on 10–11 December in Skopje, under the theme “Integrity at the Core of Digital Transformation”. The film is produced within the framework of the Western Balkans Anti-Disinformation Hub, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The film screening was preceded by a discussion with members of the Anti-Disinformation Network, the creators of the documentary.
Gashi underlined: “With the rapid growth of online media, the spread of disinformation has both accelerated and become more sophisticated. False information is not merely a media challenge — in Kosovo’s case, it has been proven to pose a security threat and to hinder the achievement of strategic objectives.”
“The region remains vulnerable to information manipulation, therefore, regional cooperation and networking are essential”, he added.

E-Society Conference
This year’s conference brought together leading professionals in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, journalism, fact-checking, and disinformation prevention. Through panel discussions, workshops, lectures and interactive activities, participants explored ways to safeguard integrity throughout the digital transformation process.
